Imported .csv, now can't log in to WP installation

It is likely you overwrote the Admin password and the salt is different.

Request password reset for your admin account. If that doesn’t work, go into the data base and ensure the email account for admin is set to your email address (phpmyadmin is a good tool for this)

Once that is done, re-try the password reset.

That was exactly the problem that caused the other administrators and myself to not be able to log in.

Now…why didn’t the users import despite the fact that we all got locked out? Hmm.

Hello! I have the same problem. I requested password reset for admin, but the import is not working at all.

So, basically:

1- In a old WP 3.7.1 instance, I exported the users with plugin “Export User Data version 0.7.4” (compatible up to WP 3.6.1). Then, I tried to import the users in a new WP 3.7.1 instance with “Import Users from CSV version 1.0.0” plugin (compatible up to WP 3.6.1). As soon as I selected the csv file and click “Import”, I got kicked out of the admin interface. I requested a new password, logged in, and nothing was imported.

As I have a user with the same name (marie) in my old WP instance and the new WP instance, I deleted the line in the csv for the admin user. Then, I tried to import the csv file. Same pattern: kicked out, nothing imported.
