Imported blog – duplicate images in posts

I’ve just imported my wordpress.com blog into www.remarpro.com. I’ve noticed some of the posts have duplicated and in others, any images that I’ve included have duplicated. Have I done something wrong or is it just a case of just spending time going through it all myself and deleting the posts and extra images I don’t want?

Also – in posts where I had a slideshow of images (I had the linen theme at wordpress.com) now when you click on them it just takes you to a new page with that image on. Has the slideshow disappeared because of the import, or because of the new theme I have at the moment?
