• I attempted to revert my site to single site use from multisite use and didn’t do this very well.I ended up not being able to access my website. Fortunately I created a backup of my databse which i have imported however the majority of my website content is missing, please can anybody give any thoughts on what I may have done wrong.Thank you

  • Perhaps your host can help you with backups of your entire site. Did you contact them?

Then you may have to be content with what you have now, or what your host provides. You can get some content from search engine caches and some readers.

I have deleted the database from mySQL but I still have the backup and I have tried to create a new database with the same name as the original but I get the message database already installed.Totally baffled

You don’t need the old name, create a new one and try to import into it. Then adjust the details in your wp-config.php file.

The website is https://www.havenlakelandlodge.co.uk. The home page is ok apart from having images missing but the other pages most of the text has gone
