• I find the this plugin uses a lot of !important styles in its own CSS stylesheets. This fact makes it difficult and a real PITA to use it together with child themes that have custom stylesheets.

    Please modify the code and use regular specificity selectors to apply your styles instead of !important.

    We understand your concern.
    The !important was added during years when we found the relative styles were broken by the styles of the theme or other plugins. So these !important are required. There are such 40 !important.

    You can override these !important by using the selector with higher specificity.
