I am interested in creating an AMP version of my website. However, my site uses a plugin that allows users to calculate something based on them inputting some information. Will I lose that functionality with an AMP version of the website? Thanks

    Hi

Thanks for your interest in AMP Supremacy.

Well, the plugin creates a separate environment and pages which carry AMP version of your pages. This has nothing to do with what is happening in other plugins or themes till anything is not putting/injecting any HTML in the AMP Template.

Hope I am clear, please write me your website URL or submit a support ticket if you are not clear.

    Thanks

    My website is: obamacarefee.com

Your answer is not clear to me. Will the calculator found on my website work if I use your AMP plugin? Thanks

    Hi

When we see your website, it seems like the site is using lot of custom DOM elements and jQuery/javascript. Such practices are not involved in AMP.

For Example: You can not calculate values when a radio button is clicked right away (without reloading of your page) because this is something that AMP do not do.

So, probably AMP would not let your calculator work as it is working on live website but it will present your pages as AMP Pages.

    Thanks
