• I have couple questions about CLoudSE and WP2Cloud plugin

    1. Does this plugin after installation uploading all the database and uploaded files to google cloud?

2.What happens if i want to backup or move wordpress website to another hosting or just stop using Googles cloud.

    3. If i disable WP2Cloud plugin, what actualy will happen? Does it gonna just break the website cuz all the data is not in the server but in Google Cloud?

    4. Does this plugin stores mysql data also in Server Mysql and Google Cloud in same time?
    5. Is there any issues with other plugins by storing files in another location then localhost?
    6. Is this plugin and CloudSE ready to go to production websites or it is some kind of demo or beta testing?

    Thanks

    Hi Yossi,

    Thank you for your questions!

    1. Does this plugin after installation uploading all the database and uploaded files to google cloud?

The plugin currently only uploads new files. The migration capabilities will be added in the future.

2.What happens if i want to backup or move wordpress website to another hosting or just stop using Googles cloud.

You can move between hosters while keeping your data in the Google cloud.

    3. If i disable WP2Cloud plugin, what actualy will happen? Does it gonna just break the website cuz all the data is not in the server but in Google Cloud?

You’d have to migrate the data out of Google Cloud. We can help you with that, should that need arise.

    4. Does this plugin stores mysql data also in Server Mysql and Google Cloud in same time?

The data is going to be stored in the Google Cloud (unless you choose to keep it on the server). The access is going to happen via MySQL, so WordPress is going to work with MySQL server, and MySQL is going to store data in Cloud Storage.

    5. Is there any issues with other plugins by storing files in another location then localhost?

Sometimes other plugins make assumptions that the files are stored on the localhost. We help to investigate such issues and suggest a solution.

    6. Is this plugin and CloudSE ready to go to production websites or it is some kind of demo or beta testing?

    It’s ready for production.
