[IMPORTANT] Major Changes since v1.90

Hi!

Since I’ve been getting a lot of WordFence related issues over the years, I decided to finally do something about it. This comes with a major change, though.

I’ve renamed local-ga.js to analytics.js to make it more recognizable for less experienced users. I also moved it to WordPress’ content directory, inside the cache directory in attempt to get it off WordFence’s radar as this file is updated and changed on a daily schedule.

Might you notice that Google Analytics isn’t working, this could be because the new file isn’t generated yet. You can force the trigger for this, be deactivating and re-activating the plugin. Afterwards go to Settings > Optimize Analytics and press Update analytic.js.

I added a notice offering a summerized version of the above instructions. You can close this manually after following the steps.

This should resolve any issues. If it doesn’t, either send me an e-mail or start a new topic here.
