Important issues with new 3.0 version

  • Hello,

    Thanks for your work on this amazing plugin but I have some important issues with the 3.0 update:
    – The design totally changed and I lost all my setup: star colors, even the hundreds of vote that I got through months from my visitors, they all disappeared. Why you didn’t give us the possibility to choose between the two designs and to keep the data ?
    – The number displayed is not correct. When I click on a star, I get random numbers. For example, I put 5 stars and I have a number like “186.0” instead of “5.0”.

    I made a roll back to the 2.X version, expecting a solution with a new update.

    The ratings data was supposed to be ported over in this version.

    I have reverted the stable tag back to 2.6.4 and trying to fix this issue.

    Thanks a lot @bhittani ! I never got an answer as fast as yours !
    Good luck to find the issue. It would be great to have the two design versions cohabiting together. I love the way the 2.x is looking and the possibility to have a label below stars is great.

    Please update to version 3.0.2

    Hi,

    To fix the issue, just deactivate the plugin then activate again. Everything will work fine.

    Only 1 issue is very big stars on amp version, I have to use css to hide it but this is not a good solution. Please check the amp version as well.

    @thanhhaivt I have no idea about amp version as I don’t use amp. Can you share a screenshot and how can I see an amp version to debug?

    Well, no styles are being applied. So amp removes all the styles?

    Yes, so styles and I have to manually added the below styles for amp:

    .kk-star-ratings {
    display:none;
    }

    But it hided all the star in amp. Can you please help me the styles that showing normal star as in desktop version?
