!important: i'll soon stop this plugin support

Before you stop support, I hope you can answer one question. I’m using BuddyDrive 2.0 with WordPress 4.6, and when I try to save a new name for the main subnav, the new name doesn’t save. I was able to change it once right after installation but haven’t been able to change it since. Have you encountered this issue before?

This is a very well-made plugin, and I really hope someone adopts it.

To change the name of the main BuddyDrive user nav, you need to change the title of the WordPress page used by the plugin.

Or you can use a filter like this one:

add_filter( ‘buddydrive_get_name’, function( $name ) {
return ‘whatever you want to use as the name’;
}

Thanks for the reply. I’m actually referring to the main subnav and not the main nav. At the bottom of the BuddyDrive Settings page, under the heading “Custom Slugs and Names Settings,” there is field labeled “Name for main subnav.” When I enter a new name in the field and click the “Save Changes” button, the new name is not saved.

When you say you will stop support do you mean you will stop devolopement aswell?
It would be a pity. I use this plugin for sharing files in my school community and sooner or later I will have to leave this plugin and it will cause few problems. Any suggestions?

I use this plugin on a collaborative platform and I have a specific work to do with this plugin. Perhaps the next father can do it (if I pay of course).

Two question :
Does BuddyDrive use post-types? (To be compatible with BuddyBoss Global search)
Does BuddyDrive can send a notification to users’s group when a file is uploaded (wall and mail)?
