import woocommerce product, delete old product

    Hello,

    I want to import xml file products woocommerce:
    – Add a new products
    – To update the current products
    – Delete the non-XML products

    I set:
    Step 1 New Items – Woocommerce Product
    Step 4 – “Create new posts from records newly present in your file”
    ‘Delete posts that are no longer present in your file “
    “Update existing posts with changed data in your file” – choose which data to update.

    After uploading xml are duplicated products, old products are not deleted. How do I configure this to work properly?

    Hello sle,

    A New Items import on WP All Import would only be able to match posts that it has already imported. Which means that on the first run of that import everything is created as new. Only when you re-run that import with a changed file, you will see updated posts, deleted posts, or new posts.

    A New Items import cannot match any pre-existing content, or even posts imported by other imports.

    OK, I understand. When I select import to existing products, new products are added, but old products, (wich are not in XML file) are still there. Not deleted. I need to delete obsolete items.
    Note: i do not use pro version yet.

    As mentioned, the import can only delete posts that were created by that same import. It can’t delete any pre-existing posts, or even posts imported by other imports. You will only be able to delete posts that have been created by the import you are running right now.
