Import with post_title

    Hi staff,
    great plugin but there’s a problem during import.
    If you change domain the post_id is different. So the comments are correctly imported but on wrong post. Can you provide a different method to assign comments to their post such as post_title?

    Hi @cioppi,

    We understand your concern. However, as post_id is the only unique identifier in case of WordPress posts, existing post ID check can only be done using it. There can have multiple posts with the same title and it confuses the importer if post_title is used to attach a comment to the corresponding post.

    It’s clear however is not the only identifier. For example you can use slug.
    This can help who (like me) need to export post from one site to another one. If comments aren’t sync with relative post what is the function of this plugin?
    After export I have to do several works on DB to match correct post with relative comments. Using slug maybe can help your development?
