Import w/default category

  • I am importing several hundred posts into an existing wp db.

    I would like them all to be in the category MEMBER, which is category #1. Is there a way to give them all the category as they import?

    Seems like it should be doable after the import via phpMyAdmin but post_category was deprecated and I don’t get where/how categories connect to posts in the db.
