• I need to know whether I will be able to select the database location during the import process.

Here’s my dilemma: I have a customized e-commerce WordPress install on my domain (www.mydomain.com, using WooCommerce)) and I also have a WordPress blog (currently with 833 posts since 2005) as a subdomain off my domain (blog.mydomain.com). Two separate logins.

I want to merge my blog into my domain name (then get rid of the blog); however, all posts on my ecomm domain are in product format!

I have a Custom Post Type UI on my domain called ‘blogpost’ where I have been adding new blog posts, so I need to make sure when I import, that I am given the choice to import into the ‘blogpost’ Custom Post Type database.

Is this possible? I am NOT php savvy, and would need detailed instructions on how to do this! If the import won’t work in this situation, how would I do this?
    thank you so much!!!
