Import stuck at certain % and then crashes

    Hello.

    I’ve tried many times to use this plugin to import another site to mine and I keep on getting stuck at around 75% and then, after serveral minutes of waiting, it displays UNABLE TO IMPORT.

    I already configured my htaccess and wp-config.php files to 512MB (my file is 288MB) and configured the timeout to 1,000 seconds and the crashing still occurs. I even installed the All in One WP Migration File Extension plugin.

    I checked the javascript console and the following appears:
    (31) Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET - /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=ai1wm_import:1

    Please help.

    Hello and thanks for the answer. I double checked every point you mention and everything seems to be working fine, also I’m not stuck at 100%, but at <75%.

    I used the WPress Extractor and successfully downloaded all the files from the .wpress file and now I have them all in my computer, however the folders and files don’t seem to have the same structure I have on my current site FTP. Can you provide me further instructions on how do I upload the files?

    Thanks in advance, I’m desperate.
