I have tried to migrate my site multiple times with this plugin. Usually if it gets stuck you just have to do it a few more times and open a new tab or a different browser and that seems to fix the issue. But After awhile of it resting in a stuck period, an error comes up, that just says, migration failed.

Now What I’m wondering is why do you guys not have a solid answer to this question yet?
It seems to be posted a lot of this forum and the only answer you have given is to open a new browser tab and try again.

One person said they fixed the issue by uninstalling their caching plugin and that solved the problem. I am going to try that now and I will let you know how that goes.

In the meantime, has there ever been a solid solution to this problem? What about deactivating ALL Your plugins before migration? Would that help?

Please reply with a solid answer to this problem. I really enjoy using your plugin but I hold my breath every time because it hardly ever works the first time anymore.

    Thank You.

Uninstalling the caching plugin did not work

Just so you know, I would buy this plugin if this ONE issue could be resolved.

There are 3 simple rules that will get you a successful transfer every time:
    1. PHP version between the sites is the same
    2. WordPress version between the site is the same
    3. If you are using a premium plugin/theme make sure that their license permits you to use them on more than 1 website – if you are unsure, disable the plugin before export and activate it after import.

angelbope, looks like you have a download for a folder called WP all in one migration? What did you ad to their plugin? do you work for them? is this the latest version? seems sketchy to install a plugin from some dude i know know claiming to have fixed their plugin. Can you explain a little bit please?

    Couple of things @yani Iliev,

1.) The PHP version would only be an issue if you were trying to migrate to a higher version of PHP than the source. For example, if you tried to migrate a site using PHP 5.6 to a website that is using PHP 7. I have experience this in the past and if this is the case, the plugin warns you that the versions are different. This is not the case here.

2.) Both the websites are currently running the latest version of WordPress.

3.) I do not have a premium theme on either website. This is also not the issue.

Conclusion: This is NOT a reliable way to make sure you a successful transfer every time.

Something else is causing your plugin to get frozen on import.

What is going on? You guys have no other options or advice on possible issues?

I am about to use Updraft Plus if there is no way to get this to work.
