Import SQL Error [wp_commentsmeta]

    Hello,

    I’m trying to import my database from a dev server to my local install, and seem to be having issues.

    I backed up my database according to the instructions on the WordPress Codex

    and went to import it, and got this SQL error:

    MySQL said:

    #1046 – No database selected

    I’ve tried Googling this, with no avail.

    Any suggestions?

    figured it out…

    i hadn’t been creating a new database – or selecting a previous one, i had just been choosing to ‘import’ the database file [which makes sense of the error i was receiving].
