Import Progress-bar needed

Hi,

no, there is no progress bar/task available in the plugin right now.

We did discuss it initially, when the plugin was starting to take shape, but we decided that the user would not be interested in what is currently importing as long as the actual data gets imported at the end.

If more people would be interested in this feature, we would consider implementing it.

It would also be good to get some real user (not theme authors) feedback, to see, if they would want to see a status report or not.

I will leave this ticket opened for a month and see, if there are other users, that want this.

This plugin is still “under construction”, so this might be implemented in the future regardless, but I can’t make any promises.

it’s been a month and nobody has added any comments on this topic, so I will close it for now.

This does not mean that we will never implement a progress bar in the plugin, it’s just not planned for now.
