Import products with the original ID on migration

    Hello, I need to migrate products from site A to site B with the same product IDs.

    Site B is an online copy of Site A, but site A has new products. So we wanted to migrate all from Site A to Site B and publish the new website (Site B)

    I have tried the built-in import/export WooCommerce feature but ID’s are not matching. Any ideas or workaround?

    I need also to migrate clients and orders. But first products with their ID’s.

  • You can’t do that – the product ID is the same as a WordPress post ID and is generated automatically.

    If you imported with those IDs there is a good chance that you will overwrite something in Site B!
