    Hi ! (Sorry for my student’s level english)
    I’ve a problem with the native import product present in woocomerce’s plugin.

    All is right for the name, category, price, image, but not for the description, and I don’t understand why. It’s a shame that I can’t join my CSV here, but here an exemple of my CSV :

    566673843;”Sénégal (1960-…)”;”Sénégal 2015 Faune menacée threatened fauna éléphants girafes Giraffen Elefanten birds Oiseaux V?gel elephants giraffe”;”Sénégal 2015 Faune menacée threatened fauna éléphants girafes Giraffen Elefanten birds Oiseaux V?gel elephants giraffe<br /><br />

    Someone could try to import this line ?
    respectly : UGS / Category / Name / Description / Price / Image

    I tried to remove <br />, and I tried to remplace all description only by “TEST” and the problem is the same ! ??

    Hi Christophe,

    I see you’re having a hard time importing a product description from a .csv file.

    The way you posted the line above makes it possible to assign any column to any value.

    In this case, the best way to check for mistakes in your .csv file is to export an existing product(s), open the .csv file in Google Sheets and compare the formatting to your own file (also opened in Google Sheets).

    That way, there will be no room for error as you will see which column represents which value ??
