Import Posts/Comments as Pages in Different Blog

Previously had a “static” site with two wordpress installs in two directories (one was “/blog/” and the other was “/faq/”. We recently converted the static site over to WordPress and set imported “/blog/” posts and comments (approx 700 posts) into the new main install. However, we still have the “/faq/” running as a separate install of WordPress and it has a different permalink structure from the /blog/ one, so we can’t easily import those posts and comments without doing redirects for all posts.

Is there a way to import the posts and comments from the FAQ install as Pages in the new install? There are only about 50 posts in the FAQ install, and we could import them as pages under a parent page with /faq/, but I can’t figure out a way to do this without just copying over the content manually, which would lose the comments associated with each of those FAQ posts.
