Import posts into static front page site

    I figured out how to use the blog feature of the theme and so the blog portion is on the same install. Now my question is, how do I import the 2nd blog into what I have now and where do I import them to? Do I need to temporarily remove the static front page, import the posts and then go back to the static page?

    Am I making sense here?

    I have a WP site that is the web site. I have another install that is the blog. Same server. I want to import the posts from WP install 2 into the main site

    Go to tools in the WordPress dashboard to export your posts from the 2nd install. Then in the 1st install go to tools and click import. Install the WordPress importer if you haven’t already then select the exported file from the 2nd install.

    Thanks. So do I have to temporarily remove the static front page and make it a normal blog and then after I import the posts put it back to the static front page? That’s my question.
