• When I try to upload my zipped photo file I get this message: Class ZipArchive does not exist! Check your php configuration

Don’t have a clue what this means, or how I can fix the problem. Don’t want to have to upload one photo at a time.

    Help, please!

Your servers php does not include the ZipArchive class.
Ask your hosting provider to add the zip class, or, if you own the server, study the php configuration on how to include zip.

You can see in Table X of the Photo Albums -> Settings page, somewhere near the bottom what the php’s zip setting is (enabled or disabled and version nrs etc).

BTW You can FTP all your photos to your personal depot (…/wp-content/wppa-depot/[loginname]) and import them from there using the Photo Albums -> Import menu item.

If you open the Import page you will see the url in a green message box (if your depot is empty).

I have tried changing permissions on /wp-content/wppa-depot/[loginname] folder and everything, and cannot seem to upload to this folder for anything. I can upload a zip file, but then i get the same error. “Class ZipArchive does not exist! Check your php configuration”
