• Hey,

one of our customers is adding a lot of schedules to specific blocks. Using the web ui, it takes a lot of clicking and work.
They would love to import these schedules via a CSV for easy of use.

We know, that there is a copy & import feature from the visibility settings of another block. This helps to set the same schedule for multiple blocks, which isn’t what they currently need.

Would you consider adding a csv import option to your plugin?

    Cheers

    Joda

    Hi Joda,

Thanks for the feature request. This is an interesting one, and I definitely see how this could be useful.

How do you envision the UI working? Would the user upload their CSV of schedules, maybe in the plugin settings, and then these schedules would be available from a dropdown in the Date & Time control on the block? ??

The Visibility Presets control in the Pro add-on does resemble this functionality a bit, but (currently) there is also no way to import Presets. This will be changed in future releases of Pro.

Either way, I definitely want to employ ways of making the plugin more user-friendly, especially for power users.

    Best,
    Nick

@ndiego thanks for the quick response. Sounds good!
Thanks for the hint to Visibility Presets. We’ve forwarded them to our client.

The important feature missing currently is the import. We would envision it to add an Import from file button to all areas in the ui, where a date & time control set addition is available. So in specific posts in the sidebar as well as the preset menu.
It should also include a ? symbol with tooltips and an option to download a template.

If you want to extend it to other control sets, like location, etc., feel free to do so. They are currently not our priority.

Hey @ndiego, did you make any progress on this?
It would be great to have this ??
