Import of CSV or TXT file not working

    I was wondering why when I import a txt file formatted like this:

    "[email protected]","Thomas Smith"
"[email protected]","Edmundo Diego"

    The last name in my list imports, and no other names before it import.

    I started with a large file (900) and ended up deleting all of the imported emails because the name didn’t import along with the email – like the format above.

    So I am baffled. Any suggestions? Does ANSI or UTF-8 encoding have anything to do with this? I was using ANSI with Notepad in Windows 7.

    I don’t have much hair to rip out, and I know there is a solution… but what is that solution?

    Also, I have some international emails in the list… does that matter?
