Import not working with proxy

    Hello,

    Is this plugin compatible with servers behind proxy. I tried using it on my server which is behind proxy but it shows error
    Wrong or unreadable XML file! Please try again! Check your file extension, should be *.xml or *.rss

    Also, it is not working for valid url which return XML feed but the url doesn’t end in .xml

    Can you please help me out with this

    I’ve already setup necessary config for the proxy

    define(‘WP_PROXY_HOST’, ‘xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx’);
    define(‘WP_PROXY_PORT’, ‘xxxx’);
    define(‘WP_PROXY_USERNAME’, ”);
    define(‘WP_PROXY_PASSWORD’, ”);
    define(‘WP_PROXY_BYPASS_HOSTS’, ‘localhost’);

    Hi @swopnildangol

    Thanks for your message and for using our plugin.

    Unfortunately we can’t test this problem because we can’t setup a proxy.

    Perhaps if the proxy affects the site functionality like CURL or other feature, the XML feed cannot be parsed properly.

    Sorry we can’t be of more help.
