Import new content and delete old content

  • Hi
    I am developing my first theme using the themify framework and a “Testing database” full of “Hello world” type posts that I picked up. I now want to copy in my “Real” blog to see how it looks.

    I have exported my “Real” blog and then imported it into the “new” blog, and all works ok excpet that all the “Hello World” type content is still there too.

    So, it looks like its added the two lots of content together rather than replace one with the otyher which is really what I need to do.

    Do I really have to delete the database or is there some quicker way?

  • Click on posts and you will see all posts that are in database you can trash from the list and then delete theme permanently from trash folder.

    Thanks for the reply – I could certainly do that. Was really wondering what you do when you have a lot of posts though? That way would take ages!
