Import mp4 video instead of images post

Hi, i want import some posts, for every post i have a .mp4 video that i want import inside post, I tried to insert the link of the video mp4 instead of the link of the image but once the import is finished the video has not been loaded, in log i see the error:
– WARNING: File ….720p_2mb.mp4 is not a valid image and cannot be set as featured one
Is there a way to also import other multimedia files as mp4 videos in the post like image or a little snippet code to do this ?
