Import List of Vehicle Brand Year Model

  • Hello,

    We’re currently facing some issues while trying to import a large YMM CSV file that contains over 3,000 vehicles’ brands, years, and models. These vehicles have not yet been added as products on WooCommerce.

    While importing the YMM CSV file, we encountered the following errors:

    Row #6 was not imported. The product with SKU or ID “6” does not exist.
    Row #7 was not imported. The product with SKU or ID “7” does not exist.
    Row #8 was not imported. The product with SKU or ID “8” does not exist.
    Row #9 was not imported. The product with SKU or ID “9” does not exist.

    This error message was repeated until the last row number.

    We’re wondering if there’s a workaround to import these products successfully. Is it possible to import them, and if a vehicle make and model is selected with no products, it would just display “no matching products”?

    Any idea or workaround on how to accomplish this would be highly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

    Hello,

    It is not possible to import vehicle models without linking them to products.

    You can temporarily assign them all to one product.

    Also for such products like car tires that can be applicable for many different car models it is possible to use the version of this plugin that uses “Attribute mapping”:

    So that you will not have to link vehicle models directly to each product. But instead you will link them to attribute values like “tire size”. And then you will select the “tire size” attribute for your products.
