Import keywork metadata and descriptions

    Hi – so it looks like the Yoast SEO plugin has an export for keywords and associated meta, but there is no import. Can anyone shed any light on how to import the meta data?

    I currently have 2100 products with metadata for each, currently working on a site migration. Unfortunately the metadata doesn’t migrate across, so this has to be done via the YOAST plugin. Has anyone managed to do this?

    Hello Greyville,

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your keyphrases. At this moment, there is no option in the Yoast SEO plugin to import keyphrases/keywords; you can only export them. I know this is a limitation of the plugin and thank you for suggesting a new feature for one of our plugins.

    We’re not working on it now, but there’s a feature request so our developers can consider this when planning updates.
