Import JSON files to new WordPress site

  • As the title says I am looking to import three JSON files which contain my users, comments, and content (blog posts). I have look into Json content importer, but I cannot figure out how to use this plugin.

    I purchased a theme off of themeforest, it has the look of the demo (which I liked) but I am wondering if it will look the same once the json files are all imported. I am not just asking in regards to this theme, but all themes. Maybe next year I want to switch up my blog and but wanna keep my old theme as is, but saved in case i want to revert back to it.

    Would really appreciate your input/suggestions on plugins or service to help me out…Thanks!

    Actually, the JSON importer is not for what I am trying to do, so please disregard it. ??

    I was able to import some posts with an rss plugin. Now I need help getting my users and comments over. I now know that I need to convert my json files to xml in order for WordPress to be able to read and import them. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
