Import joomla to wordpress FAQ schema

    We plan to move our site from Joomla to WordPress

    We will do a database to database transfer of posts and pages.

    We have more than 3000 pages on our Joomla site

    More than 1000 pages use FAQ and how to schema

    Is there a way to programmatically convert the how-to and faq schema of Joomla to WordPress?

    There is a Joomla to WP plugin:

    I don’t think it supports schema per se, as Joomla schema relates to WP theme templates and most themes likely don’t have such templates. You’d likely need to create custom page templates for the purpose, then assign appropriate pages to these templates. This can be done programatically, but the code will need some way to identify which pages are How-Tos and which are FAQ. What that is depends on how the plugin imports data.
