Import is stuck – how to clear the job

I’m trying to import an external RSS feed in Podcasting > Settings > Import. I have done it multiple times in the past on this site but now it no longer works as the page only has a message “Your external RSS feed is being imported. Please leave this window open until it completes”. This has been there for several days and deactivating and activating the plugin did not help.
