    Hello Trying to import contact using the cvs format provided in the sample.cvs, I got the following error message.
    “Important: Contacts are being imported in the background. Progress: 0%”
    can you help?

    We’re sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues importing contacts. Can you please share the CSV file with us here?

    If you are not comfortable to share the full CSV file with us, please create a fresh CSV with a few contacts in the same format and attach the file in your next response. We will see what’s going on.

    I’m sorry for not being specific.

    We need to look at the CSV file as a single empty line or a special character can throw an error.

    Can you please upload to a file sharing service like Google Drive and send it to us through the contact form?

    Hello,

    Your CSV file has several contacts with special characters in them and Email Subscribers reject such CSV files.

    We have recently included special characters and fixed several issues related to Import Contacts in our upcoming Email Subscribers 4.4.7 which will be out in a couple of days.

    We will get back to you as soon as we release ES 4.4.7v.

    I would be a really big help, if you took some time to work on some kind of error reporting system. Now I can just sit and wait for it to end importing – or not. And still having no idea where to start my troubleshooting.

    We released Email Subscribers 4.4.7 with several new enhancements and bug fixes including the one related to the import feature.
