    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this is that the table is actually multiple HTML tables, i.e. it’s not one connected table.

You will therefore first have to connect the tables, or use the HTML method (you can get the HTML code from using View source in your browser) and then choose “Append to existing table” during the import of the second table, and so on.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Sorry, but there is only one single table:
    https://vagnethierry.fr/operas.xls (plain text, with links)
    or
https://vagnethierry.fr/opera.htm (with images and links, the one I would like to be able to retreive)

    Regards
    Thierry

    Hi,

no, if you check the HTML source code of the .htm file, you will see multiple <table> HTML tags.

For the .xls file: Can you maybe try to save that as a CSV file and import that?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

yes, the “Edit” screen can get slow for large tables. You could maybe maintain/edit the table in Excel and then re-import the CSV file after making changes.

    Regards,
    Tobias
