Import images and get their id’s

    Hi,
    I need to import images to the custom field of Meta Slider and Carousel with Lightbox plugin. The thing is plugin saves serialized data with images id’s in this field. It’s look like
    a:8:{i:0;i:2024;i:1;i:2567;i:2;i:2585;i:3;i:2584;i:4;i:2583;i:5;i:2582;i:6;i:2581;i:7;i:2580;}
    , where 2024,2567 ets. – images id’s.
    So I need to make two step import: first to load images to media library, then get their id’s and then load them to Slider’s custom field.
    Any ideas to make this in one import?
