    Hello,
I used yoast from starting of my blog, but a few months before i shifted to RankMath and deleted yoast

But after some time i understand that i made the biggest mistake now i want to use yoast again

But I have few questions like while i am using rankmath i post 5-6 blog posts on my website, now if i install yoast will the meta data will be imported as i have all the tables created by yoast.

Or i should delete all the tables of yoast then install it again and import data from rankmath

    Pls help

    Hi @ayush56,

You can import all the SEO data from the 3rd party RankMath plugin to Yoast SEO by following the steps given here. How to use the import and export functionality in Yoast SEO

Newly created post SEO metadata will be imported to the Yoast SEO plugin after the import is completed and you activate the Yoast SEO plugin. For the older posts that were optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin, the SEO data should reflect soon after you activate the plugin.

Should i delete the old tables of yoast? Then install it fresh and import all the data?

Or i should install yoast the import all the data with the existing table?

    Im confused

    Hi,

There is no need to delete old tables. Please go to SEO-Tools-Import/Export and click on the Import from SEO Plugins. Then follow the instructions. This will import all the data from RankMath into the Yoast plugin.

    Then deactivate RankMath.

Then check a couple posts to make sure all the data you are expecting to appear, is appearing as expected.

If you do that, does the issue resolve?
