Import from Mailchimp

Hi there,

We allow you to export Jetpack email-only subscribers to other services like Mailchimp, but it’s not possible to import subscribers to Jetpack from another service, no. Jetpack email subscriptions are strictly opt-in, so you cannot subscribe someone to a site without their direct participation in the process.

You can invite folks from your Mailchimp list to follow your site using Jetpack subscriptions, but you’ll need to do that manually, and we also limit invitations to ten at a time to prevent the feature from being abused for spamming.

You’ll find that option at WordPress.com ->My Site ->Manage ->People

We have this as an open request on our ideas tracker, and I’ll add yours to the list, but whether or not that gets worked on is up to our developers, so I can’t make any promises ??
