import from csv

  • hello.
    i’m trying to import from a csv to post (draft)
    both databases are builded differently.
    What can i do?

  • You can use a tool called WPAllImport to import CSV based files into WordPress but it will take you some time to learn how to build the CSV files in the correct format.

    Another option is to write your own import, but it would require skill in php and an excellent working knowledge of the WordPress database schema.

    yes, i have tried to import the csv with these plugin, but it create only the title in the drafts ( i ask to put them in the draft) and no content…

    I am sorry for your experience with the above mentioned tools. I am able to import CSV with WPAllimport and XML with the WordPress import tool and build posts and pages with titles, content, attachments, etc with no issue.

    You could be using an out of date copy of WordPress, or perhaps, there is something you are doing incorrectly with these tools. You may want to check the websites of these tools and user forums to see if anyone there might be able to help.
