Import from blogger

  • I’m using Version 2.3.2

    I’m trying to import posts and comments from my blogger account, I have two blogs on the same account. They are hosted on a ftp website.

    When I click on authorize and grant access to wordpress, it shows 0 posts and comments for both blogs. I have changed date and timestamp formats but it did not help.

  • From what I know, you cannot import a blogger blog that is hosted on a ftp website, you have to switch to blogger hosting then import it. That’s what I did and it worked great.

    Hey thanks for your reply, I can see some progress now,
    I changed the hosting option from ftp to blogspot itself. There are 102 posts in this blog, I see 0/102 in posts section of the importing plugin.

    When I click on “Import” button it changes to “continue” and then posts become 0/0 and the button is “continue” again. There are no posts imported.

    What can be done?

    any ideas?

    Can I put all my blogger posts in an xml file somehow?
    How does one backup his/her posts on blogger?

    I solved the problem by installing the latest version. I used to install it through fantastico. work’s like a charm.
