import from backup?

  • I am quite possibly a giant idiot, but this is what I am left with. I have a backup file from my old wordpress blog named:
    “happenings_wp_20070127_028[1].sql”

    Now is there ANY way I can make this import? (I tried doing it under ‘import’ but it doesn’t work) Or is all hope lost?

    I am so not techie, so please if there is a way explain it to me in detail and like I am 5…

    I use dreamhost, if this helps.
