import from another wordpress blog

  • I have a wordpress blog on another hosted site. i see the import utility, but none of the options are another wordpress site.

    How do I import from one wordpress blog to another

  • Manage->Export from old blog. Manage->Import->WordPress in new blog.

    Argh, I’m having a problem along those lines …

    Basically though, I had an older version of wordpress and in the MANAGE section ONLY had an import feature, not an export. I succesfully upgrade to WordPress 2.5, (on both blogs) was VERY happy to see that under the MANAGE tab there was in fact an EXPORT feature, but now there’s no IMPORT feature anywhere ?!?!??!

    Am I going nuts ?!
