I was happily importing folders from the “WP-Content/etc” folder (using the option “keep in original folders”) for my galleries, until I reached the 24th one and it stopped showing me the wp-content directory. I clicked on the import folder and nothing happens (because there is no folder to select). As far as I can tell I didn’t change anything between one gallery and the next. (the space of about 5min). Is there a maximum limit or images number some other thing like that for galleries? I have no clue what could be different, or waht I should check.

@compasswest – Were you ensuring the last import process was completely finished before starting the next? Only one folder at a time can be imported, running multiple imports at the same time can cause issues such as this.

I was adding them fairly quickly, and checking in a separate tab in “Manage Galleries”, to make sure they were there. I thought I had waited until the previous “Importing” progress bar had disappeared before doing the next for each one. I did have a lot to add, if I have accidentally imported them too quickly, how would I go about fixing this? Could I somehow point the uploader to my wp-content folder again?

@compasswest – You could try flushing all NextGEN Gallery caches to see if that will sort things out … use something similar to:
