Import feeds, no delete

    Hi,

    I need to import 5 items/feed in every 6 mins without deleting any older posts. I’m having problems with the setup: 5 post are imported (wanted behaviour), but the old 5 are deleted (unwanted). How can I prevent the deletion of posts?
    I have feed 2 post and I bought it to have a real archive of all imported posts, not temp one.

    As of now, setting the limit field will delete the older items once the limit has reached.

    However, we are planning to add an option through which this behavior can be modified, so that older posts are not deleted.

    Ok,
    if I set the limit to 0 or blank, will I get the wanted behaviour (no old posts deleted)?

    Is there some kind of hook that would prevent the deletion of old posts, so I could modify it myself until you guys post the update of the plugin?

    Hi,

    If you set the limit as 0, then all the feed items will be imported and none of the older ones will be deleted.

    Unfortunately, as of now we do not have any such hooks that could prevent this. But, we will consider adding a filter for this in the future versions.
