    Hello,
I want to relaunch my old wordpress-website, where a mySQL-table generates the output of pages with dates of persons.
I want to export the table-values now to a csv-file to import them into custom fields in a custom post type “person” in the new wordpress-website.
In the new website I’ve generated the custom fields through the plugin “Advanced custom fields”. I would like to import the values of the old mySQL-table into the custom fields, which seems to be normally no problem with a plugin.
But: One of the fields in the old table contains an URL of an external image, which I wanted to use for the ACF-field “image”. Normally I have to choose an image from the wordpress media-library, but I have thousands of persons and would like to do it automatically.
Is it possible with the pro-version of the plugin, to use the URL of the external image to upload it into the wordpress-media-library (split into different sizes) and assign it with the ACF-field “image” in the custom post type?
By the way, it would be fantastic, if I could also automatically change the name of the image by accessing another field, that already has the correct name.

I hope, I could explain the problem right.

Thanks in advance for your help!
    Andreas
