import-export variation product issue

I am using google sheets to edit the file

Thanks for letting us know that you are using Google Sheets which is one of the approved tools.

The issue starts at the export … When exporting the products the variations on the CSV file are already gibberish…

1. Have you tried temporarily changing your site language to English and then exporting the products to CSV? Does the gibberish still come?

2. May I know what tool are you using for the export? Is it the built-in product CSV Importer Exporter or a separate plugin?

1. tried that – no luck.
2. its the built in one.

Yes, something on the source is odd. Is the source in English? Can you please recheck?

The first row on your file seems to be correct, the other rows are gibberish:

the source is the same as the first line, hebrew + english.

the source is the same as the first line, hebrew + english.

In that case, there seems to be an issue with your source site’s database encoding, or there may be a conflict causing this. I recommend taking the following actions:

– Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce
– Export the CSV
– Open the CSV file on your computer and check if the values in all fields are showing fine.

If the issue persists, then I recommend reaching out to web host so they can check on database encoding.
