import/export users and photos

    Has anyone found an effective way to import/export users with all metadata and photos from one Ultimate Member instance to another? I see some comments about csv files and such but none of them seem to get the images across…

    Sorry for the late response. You can export the images via FTP. All UM uploaded files are being stored in /wp-content/uploads/ultimate-member/

    Trying to do the same thing here. When I upload the photos via FTP to the new site, the photos aren’t associated with the correct profile. Any thoughts on how to get the photos to associate correctly?

    I think the trick is you have to keep the IDs the same of the users so that they can corresponding with the correct image directory. Try exporting/importing the users while keeping the same IDs.

    Thanks, @cjyabraham! I think that’s what I am missing. I see that the IDs don’t match between the old and new sites. It seems like exporting the users and users meta tables directly is a better bet than using an export/import plugin.
