Import/Export Tracking Numbers

This looks like exactly what I am looking for… but there seems to be a switching hurdle of not being able to import existing tracking numbers from completed orders (and in the future being able to export).

Is there any way of importing existing order tracking data – i.e. from csv file? If this is not possible, then hundreds of existing orders will have no tracking information as soon as I delete the current order tracking plugin.
