    Hi there,

Is there a way to export/import the Proofreading archive one can manually create via ignoring specific terms?

I tried copy and paste but unfortunately that doesn’t work.

    Cheers,
    Thomas

    Hello there, Thomas!

I’m not sure I follow your request, but I’m sure we can figure it out together.

When you’re speaking of a “proofreading archive,” what exactly do you mean, and how are you sorting and ignoring items?

Also, what are you trying to copy from and paste to?

If you’d be able to provide more details, error messages, or screen shots of what you’re experiencing, that would definitely help. Thanks!

    Hi there,

The proofreading settings page offers a field for adding terms that should be ignored. Currently, you have to add or remove each one of them manually.

When you start a new site and want to add your personal “proofreading archive” you can’t import the items that should be ignored from another site/installation.

    Does that clarify things?

    Cheers,
    Thomas

    Thomas,

Yes, that makes perfect sense! There is no current way to export / import or copy and paste those proofreading rules between sites.

I can definitely understand the benefit of being able to export or at least copy and paste the settings from one site to others, though! I would recommend making a feature request on this proper forum to get that change considered:

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
