import existing serial numbers?

  • if i have a database of existing customers and their tier and serial number, can that be imported?

    do you provide a REST api such that my app can make calls directly to the database, eg: to make a purchase and get a new serial number back, or validate an existing serial number (whether imported or created)

    Yes, You can import serial numbers directly into WC Serial Numbers using our bulk import feature like “CSV File Import”.

    Please note that our plugin won’t import customer and Order details. You need to import customer details and their corresponding orders yourself.

    For REST API support, you’ll need to use WooCommerce’s REST API to handle purchases. Once you have created a new order using the REST API, our plugin should automatically generate serial numbers depending on the product’s serial number generation settings.

    Our plugin integrates seamlessly with WooCommerce and can automatically manage actions like validation, activation, deactivation, and version checks for serial numbers.
