Import Errors & shortcodes not working

Hi there,

I’ve installed the free version of this plugin to give it a test as I’m interesting in the pro version, but have run into a couple of problems which I’d appreciate some feedback on before paying for the pro version.

1. When manually importing some events (using event ID), the import process doesn’t complete and leaves me with a blank white screen.

When I look at my list of imported events, I can see the event I was trying to import, but it has no ‘start date’ associated with it and whilst it’s in my database, the event page is full of errors:

This happens with multiple events from different organisers, but not every time I try and import something – the problem seems to be totally random, but certain events will just not import correctly, however many times I try.

2. I have used the shortcodes to try and show a 2 column layout and also show events from certain categories, but these shortcodes seem to be ignored completely?

Any help with these issues would be appreciated and then I’ll be happy to buy the pro version, but I’m reluctant to do this if the app doesn’t function correctly.
